Here we will have all the different people who are involved in our club, even those who never showed up when we actually had work to do... I'm looking at you, Brad. Here we have people's pictures and what they did (or were supposed to do) for our club.
Patrick | Dharik | Helena |
Patrick passive-aggressively contributed to building the robot, the kiosk, and this website. He will be remembered by the astounding amount of breakdowns he had throughout the competition. | The most stubborn member of the crew, he invested himself in the launching mechanism of the robot, but no one actually understands what he's been up to. | An artist among nerds, she invested herself in the conception and construction of the kiosk. Helena was also strangely aggressive about the stains we needed. And everything else, too. |
- sigh | - "I did so much sh*t! I did more than the frame..." | - |
Nic | Daniel | Sirima |
Nic is the master of the conveyor belt, so it's thanks to him that our robot can pick up game pieces. Also, he kept smiling although everyone was in crisis, so thank you, Nic. | This guy's motivation (or insanity) knows no bounds. He graciously accepted to act as John Abbott's Dean for our video, and wore the same suit for three days. He also jumped in a lake in the middle of December. "Communism". | Programmed for CRC’s ridiculous programming competition (she had to go all the way to Westmount for that!!). She also filmed our video. I tried microwaving her tourtière once and the microwave stopped working. |
Laurie | Oliver | hon yeah | Ava |
Without Laurie, our kiosk wouldn't look that amazing. Props to her organization skills too, thanks to her, our clubroom is a *little* bit less a mess. | Have you seen our kiosk? Probably not, but if we have a beautiful arch, that’s all thanks to Olivier. | Veteran of T-slotted bars, she contributed to the construction of the robot as well as the conception of the video. Overall, she ate a ton of “spicy” chicken wings from Pizzeria Adesso. |
Melissa | Brodie | Alec |
Melissa hasn’t done a lot during the winter break, but she did help the kiosk, and she is the (only) moral support the team could ever need. | Made the bar (kind of). I find it hard to believe that his father’s a carpenter. | I didn’t know who this guy was until I stalked him on Facebook, but he was crucial for the conception of the robot (until Dharik scrapped all his ideas). He likes cars. That’s all I know. This might not even be a picture of him. |
(Tall) Nick | Clémence | Brad |
He keeps coming to the club with his longboard. He moved some heavy equipment for us since Patrick and Dharik are too weak. | The wonderful interpret of Dean Deanna, Clémence, decided to help us with our video because she had nothing else to do during her break. She kind of worked on Dharik’s system as she was in class. Schooled people on racism. | He pretended his name was Andrew for weeks. |
